Professional Development Center
Magellan International’s professional development center is dedicated to three objectives: helping you get control of your career, developing your career excellence, and empowering you to develop and grow professionally. By partnering with our dedicated executive development professionals, Magellan’s Career Compass process is at your command. We provide four levels of dedicated services:

JUMP START
For professionals who just need help in a few areas to fine-tune their efforts and make sure they are going in the right direction. This is self-directed, and deliverables are completely up to each person. We recommend resume and profile updating, as well as network development and interview preparation.
- This package also includes a free once-a-month networking meeting with other professionals going through the job search process.
- COST – $500/hour for an initial Intake with 2 hours of face-to-face consulting time.
JOB SEARCH
For people who want to combine job and career focus simultaneously, with an emphasis on rapid network engagement in the next 30 days. Provide all relevant documents, DISC assessment, Airport and Elevator Pitches, and Networking basics. We also recommend a discussion of how to convert the job you find into a great career decision. A discussion of how to balance this professional change with family and your own personal interests is also highly recommended.
- This also includes free once per once-per-month network meetings.
- COST – $2000 to set up with 4 hours of face-to-face consulting time.
CAREER PLANNING
This is the heart of our process and includes 5 one-hour sessions, resume, LinkedIn, and media prep, as well as three months of networking meetings. Additionally, we will develop your advocacy network to use for the rest of your career, train you in issues-based advocacy networking and interviewing, and conduct a full Mission, Vision, and Values analysis. Assessments will be provided to ensure the job you find aligns with the career you want. We also include integration steps for the first 100 days.
- COST – $5,000 to meet 1/week for 3 months.
